Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who wants to make a difference by providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant – Audit & Assurance, your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  1. Leading and coordinating audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and compliance with professional standards.
  2. Supervising and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback.
  3. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing guidance on accounting and regulatory matters.
  4. Identifying areas of risk and implementing appropriate risk management strategies.
  5. Preparing and presenting audit findings and recommendations to clients and management.
  6. Collaborating with other departments to provide comprehensive financial advisory services.
  7. Keeping up-to-date with relevant accounting and regulatory changes and maintaining professional development.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit and assurance, preferably within a public accounting firm.
  3. Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent).
  4. In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
  5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  7. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.
