Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who wants to make a difference by providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant – Audit & Assurance, your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Leading and coordinating audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and compliance with professional standards.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing guidance on accounting and regulatory matters.
- Identifying areas of risk and implementing appropriate risk management strategies.
- Preparing and presenting audit findings and recommendations to clients and management.
- Collaborating with other departments to provide comprehensive financial advisory services.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant accounting and regulatory changes and maintaining professional development.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit and assurance, preferably within a public accounting firm.
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.
